Infosys Recognized as a ‘Leader’ in NelsonHall NEAT Vendor Evaluation for Digital Manufacturing Services

Bengaluru, India - June 18, 2020:Infosyshas been ranked a Leader in NelsonHall Vendor Evaluation and Assessment Tool (NEAT) 2020 for Digital Manufacturing Services. The evaluation recognized Infosys for its digital manufacturing capabilities, Industry 4.0 maturity assessment methodology, and a comprehensive partner ecosystem. The NEAT studied nine vendors offering digital manufacturing services for this report, and the leaders were vendors who exhibited a high ability to deliver immediate benefits and meet future requirements for clients.

Infosys was evaluated based on its digital manufacturing capabilities across aerospace and defense, high-tech, automotive, pharmaceutical, medical device, and other industrial manufacturing sectors. The evaluation validated Infosys’ ability to leverage a comprehensive partner ecosystem to build its Industry 4.0 maturity assessment methodology. The report also highlighted Infosys’ geo-localization server and Indoor Tracking System IP to localize indoor objects or equipment.

NelsonHall’s NEAT vendor evaluation highlighted Infosys’ strengths as:

  • Consulting: Infosys has an Industry 4.0 assessment methodology in cooperation with the University of Aachen, in Germany. This framework is available to Infosys clients.
  • Build services: Infosys has a broad portfolio of build services with a primary focus on several specialized offerings.
  • IP: Infosys has backed several of its specialized services with an IP, such as KRTI 4.0, relying on two partners: ÅF Pöyry and Nokia, and Geo-localization Server, for locating assets in closed environments.
  • Benefits of adjacent digital skills relevant to digital manufacturing, analytics, and AI.
